Thanks to your continued support, we at Apollo Japan have reached our 60th anniversary.
In 1965, our founder, Seiji Hattori, a professional mountaineer, established a business to introduce outdoor equipment as a new challenge. The company later gained a global reputation as a diving equipment manufacturer, earning the trust of divers worldwide.
To commemorate this milestone, we are launching a project that will highlight the many people who have supported the Apollo brand over the past 60 years.
We hope to continue contributing to the diving industry both in Japan and overseas, ensuring the brand’s values are passed on to future generations.
To show our appreciation to the divers and the industry that have supported us, we have launched a special website to invite you to celebrate our 60th anniversary. We hope you will enjoy participating and being a part of our history!

Unveiling the Bio-Metal Mask Titanium “60th Anniversary Model.”

Dearest friends at Apollo.
Thank you so much for your kind words, and for a most memorable day. We were honored to meet every employee in person and be shown the process of hand-crafting the Apollo bio-metal and titanium masks.
The day at Apollo also gave us a unique insight into the company’s history, its founder, his inventions, and the new driving force, his daughter Tomoko, the current CEO.
Thank you for sharing all this with us.
With gratitude, Herbert & Jeanette

Visiting Apollo Headquarters
Thank you very much for the valuable opportunity the other day.
Congratulations on your 60th anniversary.
The manual work of the craftsmen, the spirit of Japanese manufacturing, and the history of thinking about divers while being considerate of the environment and continuing to challenge the impossible. I was very impressed and have become an even bigger fan of the Apollo brand.
I will continue to challenge the deep sea with Apollo products.
